Almost everyone has a video camera. Why do I need you to create a Video Portrait?  

Owning a video camera does not guarantee quality family videos. Most families do not have the time, the software or the know-how to edit and transfer to DVD. They end up with videos that sit in the closet. We give you entertaining videos with music, titles, credits, and even outtakes your family will love to watch. 

I hate the way I look on camera. Do I have to cringe every time I see my self on video?  

Unflattering pictures disappear in the editing process. Don't be intimidated by the camera. We'll make you look great! 

What could we do? 

We'll help you decide with lots of easy suggestions. You don't have to write a script. Our Director guides you through the process. We help you to identify the action and choose age appropriate toys for your kids. 

Who can be in the video?  

At home usually Dad or Mom is trapped behind the camera. At My Video Factory everyone gets to be in the picture! Mom and Dad don't have to be in the video, but it's better if they are. 

What should we wear? 

Solid colors are best. Don't wear black or white. Avoid shirts with letters or words, plaids or stripes. 

Is it really nice enough to give as a gift?

Can you convert my old videos to DVD?  

There are many companies that specialize in this. You might try Ritz Camera. If you want your video edited, please contact us. 

Do I have to be on the video with my kids?  

No, but you'll get a better video if you join in. 

Are pets allowed?  

Well behaved pets are welcome.

What if I want to order another DVD 5 or10 years from now?  

We can always create a new copy. Your images are digitized and as long as they are properly stored they can be recreated. 

How long will you store my pictures?  

We'll keep the edited version of your video and any proofs we've actually printed for as long as we are around. 

Do you have gift certificates?   

Yes! They look just like a finished DVD and come in a case.
